Bonner Black

Bonner Black grew up on a farm in a small town of 150 people called Hot Rock, Tennessee. Hot Rock is in Lincoln County. and it's one of those places that Google doesn't even know exists (literally).

Bonner found an interest in the legal side of the music industry and began accompanying Bart Herbison (Executive Director of the Nashville Songrwriters Association International) to Washington DC to represent songwriters in the fight against online music piracy. She made several trips with him and sang in numerous House and Senate offices.

She is a member of Nashville Songwriter's Association's Gap Group (their top 100 writers) and ASCAP's GPS Program (am elite group of 12 songwriters that are being groomed for publishing deals).
